Since my last post, Restored has finally released! In case you missed it, scroll to the bottom for the link.
Spring is a time of renewal. The temperatures start to rise, flowers begin to bloom. I don’t know about you, but I tend to feel energized and ready to take a fresh look at life. However, the warmer weather does not mean it never cools back off. We recently had a week of extreme wind which blew in cold air after a few weeks of lovely weather. It was no fun to have winter come barging in on us again with the added insult of wind and its consequences.
It so happens that I have published or completed more books in the Spring than any other time of year. I finished drafting my very first novel length work and the one that got me interested in publishing on March 28, 2014. That book, No Cause to Repine, eventually released in May 2015. Since then, I have published 30 other books. Ten of them have come out in the Spring.
In typical fashion, I have started working on a new story this Spring. Thus far, it doesn’t have a name. I am open to suggestions.
It is a Regency Pride and Prejudice variation. It begins while Darcy is staying at Rosings but before his proposal. Events before this happened according to the original. Next, the trope is a forced marriage. For the final ingredient, crazy wind begins the action. I could tell you more, but then it won’t be a surprise. :D
Here are some of my ideas but you can leave a comment with your own!
Writing is slow work these days, so I can’t tell you when this book will come out. My intention is before Spring 2025! For now, if you need a Spring fix, try out:

What’s on your reading list for the next few months?
I don't know what's up next for me, but this past weekend I finished reading the Riverbend Romance series of novella by Valerie Comer (Contemporary Christian Romance). They were all cute, quick faith-forward reads and insta-love sorts of stories set in a small town in British Columbia, Canada. I now need to pick out another short read or set of reads to read next since that's what my brain handles best right now - but it's an improvement to just be able to read one short book each Sunday. So, I'm not complaining. I've always loved shorter books anyway.
Oh, and BTW, I didn't vote up above, but I just wanted to mention that Leenie has a book titled A Scandal in Springtime. I don't know if that figures into your decision making or not. Just thought I'd mention it.
I'm at the end of Linda Wells' Chance Encounters. I'm not sure what I'll read next, to be honest.
